Deposit:

A 25% deposit is required. The deposit is for all orders and is non-refundable. Your booking cannot be confirmed until this has been received. Payment: Payments can be made by:  Cash, Cheque, supported with cheque guarantee card or a Building society cheque. Cheques must be made payable to The Kooky Cake Company.

Balance:

The final balance is due 14 days before the Wedding/ Occasion date. As this is a very busy time for brides and grooms, an email reminder will be sent. Please note Wedding/ Occasion cakes cannot be released until full payment has been received and cleared.

Alteration to Orders:

Any alterations to the original order must be confirmed in writing and may be subjected to an additional charge. Late amendments to orders are often possible and every effort will be made to accommodate changes, but this cannot be guaranteed.

Cancellation of orders:

In the event of cancellation, work already completed is chargeable.

Deliveries and Collections:

Delivery and set up can be arranged at your initial consultation. If the cake has been collected from our premises, responsibility for the cake and set up lies with the client.

Cake Information:

All fruit cakes provided by The Kooky Cake Company have been made with nuts so will be unsuitable for people with nut allergies.

All sugar flowers and models made by us may contain wires, if they do, the client will be made aware and therefore the items are not edible. Items such as this can be kept as a momento (a glass cabinet is ideal).

Cakes or sugar items should not be refrigerated unless advised.

Hired Items:

Hired items will be required back as noted on the confirmation form and as previously arranged.
